The HD147 Low Profile HoistCam is a compact, wireless camera system engineered to improve operator visibility in locations with limited mounting space, or where camera placement mobility may be needed. Designed with a slim and streamlined form factor, the Low Profile HoistCam uses an umbilical connection up to 5’ long for its small ball camera (IP67-rated). This HoistCam stands up to construction, industrial, and other rugged environments, including exposure to dust, vibration, and moisture.
HoistCam’s rare earth magnetic mounting system and safety lanyard allows for rapid, tool-free installation directly on the hook block or boom or piece of equipment, enabling quick deployment without crane modifications or downtime. The frequency hopping, AES encrypted wireless signal can transmit out to 2500’ line of sight with a reliable 1080P High Definition (HD) video feed. When battery power is not needed or native power preferred, the Low Profile HoistCam is also available in the i-Series (HD147i) allowing it to connect to a local power source.
The HD147 Low Profile HoistCam acts as an operator aid by delivering real-time, high-definition video to the operator’s monitor, providing critical visual awareness of the hook, load, and surrounding area.
