The HD 197 Pan-Tilt-Zoom HoistCam (PTZ), is a powerful crane camera system engineered for complex lifting and moving environments where expanded visibility and control are essential. The Pan-Tilt-Zoom HoistCam features rugged, IP66-rated housing and 144x zoom and is conceived with full remote pan, tilt, and optical zoom capabilities using an ergonomic joystick. Operators can track loads, zoom in on crews or obstacles, and maintain situational awareness over large or congested work areas near and far. 

HoistCam’s rare earth magnetic mounting system and safety lanyard allows for rapid, tool-free installation directly on the hook block or boom or piece of equipment, enabling quick deployment without crane modifications or downtime. The frequency hopping, AES encrypted wireless signal can transmit out to 2500’ line of sight with a reliable 1080P High Definition (HD) video feed. When battery power is not needed or native power preferred, the Pan-Tilt-Zoom HoistCam is also available in the i-Series (HD197i) allowing it to connect to a local power source.
